I am an Asian who simply loves exploring the world; each time it is a new destination that I am going to explore. Last year I had been to Dursley, a town located in southern part of Gloucestershire. England itself is really vast and I am trying to cover these areas within the next two years; of course if my office permits me to enjoy these foreign tours. I had done the bookings beforehand because I wanted to avail the discounts at the hotels in Dursley. My friend John was with me, every time it’s him giving me accompany. Before I reached the place, I have heard a lot about the Cotswold walks, trails that lead to breath-taking experiences. The Costwold Way is considered one of the significant National Trails of England.
We had taken this long distance walk covering 102 miles. We started off from the Chipping Campden. The trail ended at the bath Abbey. Thankfully the trail can be covered in any direction. Years back, the trail became recognised as the national trail in England. The English attraction took us to experience the bliss of nature; untouched by urban hustle. The Cotswold Way, took us to some of the majestic panoramic views, where we came across open pasture, beech woods and the strong dry stone walls standing tall adding to the rustic charm of the village.
We also visited other areas, but it was a walk to remember, with nature’s bliss around. It was an extensive walk and we didn’t feel tired; the picturesque view would not let us feel exhausted, we felt more alive amidst the meadows, kissed by the golden sun. It was 6 days long walk. However I have heard that you can break the walk for 10-12 nights. It was one of a kind journey and both of us enjoyed a lot.
